Call for Abstracts SRHD 2016

20th Biennial Conference of the
Society for Research in Human Development (SRHD)
Denver, Colorado

March 17 - 19, 2016


The program committee for SRHD invites proposals for papers, posters, and symposia in the categories of  faculty/professional, graduate student, and undergraduate (posters only). 

Papers:  Individuals will have 15 minutes to present their papers.  Additional time at the end of the session will
be allotted for audience questions and discussion.

Posters:  Presenters will share their research studies in poster format and engage attendees in questions and
discussion about the research elements during the session. 

Symposia:  Sessions are designed to present a set of studies related to one topic or area.  Usually a group of individuals who have a common research focus or who have collaborated on a series of studies from one line of research will be presenters.

Format for Abstract Submissions:

Submissions should be prepared in Word or PDF. A reference page is not required. No names, affiliations, or other identifiers should be included on the abstract. Submitters should complete the online submission form (using the appropriate link to the right), including contact person's name and email, list of all authors, title of the paper/poster/symposium, and category of submission (faculty/professional, graduate student, undergraduate).  Submitters should upload their abstract to the submission form and then click “submit”. A sample abstract is available to the right.

    Paper and Poster Submission Requirements:  the abstract should include the paper/poster title and an abstract of
    500 words or less. 

    Symposia Submission Requirements:  A master abstract should be prepared that includes the title of the symposia,
    a brief abstract explaining how the individual papers fit together, and the title and abstract for each paper to be
    included in the symposium (each abstract should be limited to 500 words or less).  On the online submission form
    indicate the discussant's name (if applicable) as well as the titles and authors each paper within the symposium.

Submission Deadline Extended:  Faculty and Graduate Student submissions due November 16, 2015
                                                              Undergraduate submissions due December 7, 20015
